Parenting and Life Skills Manager: Full-Time

The Parenting and Life Skills Manager must be a strong leader with experience and training in how to assess the needs of mothers and fathers and empower them to make life-changing decisions. The Parenting and Life Skills Manager must be knowledgeable about the resources in the North County San Diego community and help clients fully utilize the resources available to them both inside and outside of the Parenting and Life Skills Center. The ideal candidate would have a degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or another related field.

Staff Nurse: Full-Time or Part-Time

As part of the Alternatives Medical Clinicteam which provides support and care to the patients, the Staff Nurse maintains professional standards of care in accordance with the rules and regulations of the California State Board of Nursing. The Staff Nurse works in conjunction with staff and volunteers to assure that patients are receiving the best medical, nursing, and psychosocial care possible. The services provided are pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasounds, and limited STI testing/treatment. The Staff Nurse ensures that Nurse of the Day responsibilities are completed, either solely or in collaboration with other staff nurses.
